Chair in 19th and 20th Century Global and Colonial History (HEC5).
The Department of History and Civilization invites applications
for a Chair in 19th-and 20th century colonial and global history
from a variety of perspectives (social, political, cultural,
economic). We are particularly interested in candidates
specialized in Europe’s place in the global setting; in the
interactions between colonial and post-colonial societies and
the global power structure; and in the emergence of international
institutions, regimes, and rules.
The contract is for five years, renewable for a further three
